Mark McFadyen runs the busy Scottish area of the practice with Sue Clay, and has over 22 years of experience in both Scottish personal and corporate insolvency. His career started in the mid 1980’s, and he admits that he now prefers to work in the personal insolvency arena where he enjoys helping people who are struggling to deal with unaffordable debt.
Mark is proud to have developed a team of Trust Deed experts who not only handle their jobs professionally, but have retained their human and interpersonal skills. He tries to meet as many of his new clients personally, and is told that this is greatly appreciated at a time when so many of them have been experiencing great stress and worry. Leading by example, Mark maintains a “hands-on” approach to every case he is involved with – and is always just a phone call away if anyone needs advice.
Mark is also a vocal contributor to a number of Scottish web-based advice sites – where he is happy to spend his own time helping people to find a debt solution, and also those who are in Trust Deeds where they are experiencing difficulty in communicating with their own insolvency practitioners.
Whilst away from the office, the majority of Mark’s time is spent following football and learning to speak Bulgarian where he enjoys the occasional holiday with his family.
