Corporate insolvency expert Philip Gill hails from the Killinchy area of Northern Ireland and is a founder member of the business. He is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in all aspects of insolvency – but particularly corporate recovery and turnaround.

Philip’s early career after graduation from Queens University in Belfast, was with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he qualified in 1999 and worked full time on insolvency related matters. After a short spell with a smaller practice, where he initially met and teamed up with Melanie Giles, the concept of PJG Recovery was established in 2002.

Philip now has direct responsibility for running the group’s post-appointment administration and manages a busy portfolio of corporate cases – whilst dealing with all Northern Ireland related insolvency matters. Philip has helped numerous businesses to restructure and accept change, many of which are still trading successfully today having benefitted from his experience and particular skills.

When not at work Philip still turns out for his local rugby team, where he held office as President until a year ago.
